Just let me sleep
Just go away
Just let me sleep
Throughout the day
Just leave me here
Right in my bed
So I can rest
My aching head
Don’t want to go to work this way
Don’t want to go outside to play
Don’t really want to go to school
Just leave me here like a dead fool
Just let me dream, but if I scream
Please take me from the nightmare beam—
The beam of hate
And fear
And fright…
Please let me get some sleep. Alright?
